Just wanted to let you all know that this Monday (12th October, 6pm), ActionAid is launching a two-week campaign to say a big thanks to YOU. More than 2,500 children from Africa, Asia and South America are sponsored by people in our region – in fact Leeds is home to the most child sponsors per head for this programme than any other UK city
The launch will be marked with a projection onto The Queen’s hotel (at the bottom of town by the train station) showing footage of children living in a remote village in East Africa who all wanted to say ‘hello’.
So, if you’re around that area of Leeds at 6pm on Monday – head down enjoy the show!
