In recognition of the year-long celebration of the city's 800th birthday and of its position at the cutting edge of new music Leeds City Council has joined forces with promoters Futuresound to host the three-day spectacular over the late May Bank Holiday weekend.

News of the city centre-based extravaganza will be music to the ears of rock fans everywhere as some national names join local music talent for the event. With one main day packed with performances from around 30 bands, there will also be a day of music industry education sessions for young people and aspiring bands, plus a music-themed film event day.
